Originating in Europe, Yarrow is a perennial herb in the sunflower family. Considered to be one of the world's oldest herbal medicines, its latin name, Achillea millefolium, is derived from the legendary Greek hero Achilles, who used Yarrow to treat the wounds of his soldiers. Yarrow is approved by the German Commission E to support healthy appetite as well as mild, spastic discomforts of the gastrointestinal tract.
